sponsorships

A leader in theatre and theatre arts education in the State of Alabama since 1961, Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theater & Academy (FPCTA) is a 501 ( c ) non-profit bringing the magic of theatre to more than 31,000 residents annually, including 21,000 children and youth. FPCTA provides theatre arts access through production, education, and outreach while enriching the lives of children and families through theatre and arts education, encouraging students to become self confident, academically successful, creative-thinking citizens who are more likely to invest in their communities as adults. FPCTA’s core programs include live children’s theatre productions, classes, camps, workshops, and education outreach through after school theatre programs and In-School Touring Programs. Recognizing the transformative power theatre arts can have in the life of a child, FPCTA prioritizes theatre arts access for all.

Sponsorship of the season is the perfect opportunity to support our mission and help ensure our continued growth and community engagement. FPCTA sponsors have the opportunity to present themselves as influential constituents as well as reach a diverse audience of students, parents, and families. Sponsorships play a vital role in FPCTA planning as revenue from our tickets and our camps and classes only cover a portion of the costs. Sponsorships directly subsidize the costs associated with providing:

  • Theatre arts access for families with intentionally low ticket prices and tuition

  • Tuition assistance and scholarships for under-resourced students

  • Free theatre arts education programming to Title 1 schools

  • Free admission to final dress rehearsals provided to organizations that serve under-resourced populations with little to no access to live theater

  • Reduced price student matinees for productions

FPCTA is thrilled to announce its 63rd season of all original adaptations and plays written by Alabama authors presented by Redstone Federal Credit Union. With your support, audiences of all ages will be able to experience FPCTA’s productions, which present lessons on prejudice, perseverance, the importance of education, mentorship, family, and the power of love wrapped in scripts designed to transport attendees to historical and fantasy lands. We invite you to share your commitment to the arts and quality of life in our community.
